KAKA RETURN RULED OUT

AC Milan transfer supremo Adriano Galliani has said that there is no way that AC Milan would be able to re-sign Kaka from Real Madrid. The Brazilian international left the club a few seasons ago for a transfer fee worth around £ 62 million, which briefly made him the world record signing only to be overtaken by Cristiano Ronaldo a few days later. However, he has struggled for form and fitness in his time at Real Madrid, which has prompted rumours that the Spanish club will be willing to cut their losses and sell the player. He has been linked with many clubs across the world, while AC Milan have also been mooted as a possible destination.

Kaka has always stated that he regarded AC Milan as his second home after he became a global star only at this club. Hence, it is thought that AC Milan will be looking to make a move for the Real Madrid midfielder knowing that they should sign a number of players in order to remain competitive this season. A number of high-profile players have left the club in the summer transfer window. Players like Gattuso and Nesta have left the club following the end of their contracts, while Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva have been sold for around £ 55 million.

“It will be very difficult. There are a thousand factors which could make this impossible. As always, the problem is money. Milan cannot afford to pay some wages, because Spain have a different tax system. The law there has changed but only for future contracts. The contracts that were already signed will stay as they were. That shirt is free for the moment,” said Galliani. Rumours of his return were prompted when many notice to the fact that the number 22 shirt has been left free.
